Hanover goes Relution – Tablets in the classroom

In favor of the mobile device management product, Relution for Education by M-Way Solutions GmbH, a company based in Stuttgart, Germany. The state capital, Hanover (LHH) has publicly announced to have chosen Relution as a mobile device management solution for its schools’ tablets.

All existing and all-new Apple devices will be managed with Relution for the duration of the contract. The main reasons for this decision were, additionally to the on-premise version of Relution, the outstanding compatibility with the complex IT infrastructure of the LHH, a cross-school LDAP based on UCS@school, a Radius orientated WI-FI infrastructure with a PKI connection including the automatic assignment of newly acquired tablets to the schools during the MDM enrolment.

The user-friendly concept of Relution and its easy-to-manage configurations were also convincing in this case.

M-Way Solutions GmbH is the manufacturer of the MDM solution: Relution, which is used by various companies, public authorities and educational institutions to manage mobile devices and apps. With approximately 1,500 customers Relution is a relevant competitor in the EMM market in Europe. Data protection and DSGVO conformity is valued greatly by the product.

Special functions for use in day-to-day school scenarios such as the teacher console or the connection of school servers as well as a secure shared device mode are important unique selling points.
