Next stop: Bosphorus - Bahçeşehir Koleji relies on Relution
The renowned Bahçeşehir Koleji in the heart of Istanbul manages over 55,000 iOS and Windows devices for more than 96,000 students and 11,000 teachers. With Relution as the central mobile device management (MDM) solution, cross-platform, secure and efficient management is now possible - across 159 campuses throughout Turkey.
Istanbul: a place of education, diversity and digitalization
The metropolis of Istanbul not only combines Europe and Asia, but also tradition and progress. In the heart of this dynamic city, the Bahçeşehir Koleji promotes technical innovation, digital education and international openness. The integration of digital media into lessons has long been part of everyday life - supported by over 55,000 mobile devices that are actively used to impart knowledge.
Relution: One system instead of many
Previously, devices were managed via different MDM systems - with a great deal of effort and increasing complexity. The decision was therefore made in favor of Relution - as a standardized system that covers all platforms.
The main advantages of Relution are the clear management of school devices with a cross-platform system, the stable operation of the software and the website with helpful feature descriptions. “Relution provides us with everything we need and were looking for in an MDM,” says IT Manager Burak Gençay, explaining the decision. “The comprehensive data security, the reduction in workload, the fast and stable distribution of training content and apps are the reasons why we chose Relution,” adds Hüseyin Kerenciler, main contact person and responsible for mobile devices.
It was clear to everyone involved that enrolling such a large number of devices in Relution would be a very complex and time-consuming task. “Thanks to the ownership of the project by Nurdan Eris, CEO of E&W, the good communication and the strong, helpful support from the Relution team, we were able to successfully implement this process - which makes us very satisfied,” says Ayhan Aktaş, Director Windows IT.
Efficient management thanks to device groups
The new Relution device groups also contribute to simplified management by dividing the large number of mobile devices in various organizations into well-structured groups. Above all, this makes it easier to assign and apply policies. The Bahçeşehir Koleji relies on dynamic device groups based on filters that allow devices to be grouped according to specific criteria, such as automatic assignment to classes or locations. “With an inventory structure of this size, it is essential for us that the devices are always provided with the right information and guidelines without a manual process - this is the only way we can really save a lot of time - we are now able to do this thanks to Relution,” concludes Hüseyin Kerenciler.
