Secure, simple management of IT devices in focus at Relution and new partner E & W

The way knowledge and teaching content are imparted is changing. Working in class with digital devices is already a permanent feature of educational institutions. More and more administrations and companies are also switching to digital work processes. The secure operation of cell phones, tablets, notebooks and PCs poses new challenges for the respective IT departments. To meet these challenges, the Swiss Eris AG, its German subsidiary E & W AG & Co. KG and Relution GmbH from Stuttgart have agreed on a future collaboration.

With the cooperation between E & W and Relution, two strong partners are now working together. The management of E & W has more than 25 years of experience and successfully implemented projects in the area of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and offers custom-fit, secure solutions for complex IT system landscapes. The E & W team consists of employees with different competences from all areas of IT and IT security. They come from politics, banks and insurance companies, the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, and the energy and automotive sectors. The company cooperates with innovative start-ups, medium-sized and industrial companies, and scientific institutions.

Relution GmbH is a software manufacturer of a leading mobile device management (MDM) solution and specializes in unified endpoint management. Relution forms the technical foundation of the digitalization of schools, public administrations and companies. This bundling of strategic know-how and IT expertise results in valuable synergies.

The declared aim of both partners is to enable schools, the public sector and companies to operate digital end devices securely, simply and cost-effectively. The strategic partnership between the two companies covers not only the digitization projects in Germany, but also other projects in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

"With Relution, we have found a partner with decades of digital expertise and a compelling product. Together, we are striving for market leadership in the MDM and UEM area. Further growth in other markets is also quite conceivable and mutually desired," explains Udo Wichert, CEO at E & W.

With Relution, in addition to the very stable and intuitive software application, intelligent device control and data protection compliance, which is ensured by operating as an "on premises" or cloud solution in an EU infrastructure, are also convincing. A key feature of Relution is its platform independence, i.e. the management of mobile and stationary Apple, Android or Microsoft devices in one system. Devices are controlled via the Internet, which is highly relevant for homeschooling and home offices and is particularly data-saving. Additionally, Relution is open for integration into existing systems.

E & W and Relution initially offer solutions for the education sector and meet requirements for professional and flexible device management. For example, the distinction between private and business devices and the associated clean and secure separation of data can be ensured through sophisticated authorization management. The growing demand for management solutions for digital end devices with different operating systems and automated software distribution is strongly demanded by the market. Through the synergy of E & W and Relution, the demand can be safely covered.

"The wide range of possibilities that E & W offers us with its access to companies and public administrations makes this cooperation very interesting for Relution. Relution also benefits from E & W's unique experience in the areas of public key infrastructures (PKI), identity and access management (IAM), and complex security architectures. With its extensive international experience, E & W is the ideal partner for opening up new national and international markets," emphasizes Moritz Mahlmann, Head of Sales at Relution.

"The partnership with Relution is another important step to drive digitalization for schools, public administration and companies. The increasingly strong home office factor also shows how important the management of mobile devices is," affirms Nurdan Eris, CEO of Eris AG, Switzerland.
